Fusion World FB11 Digital Launch and Leader Limited Battle: What Starts October 20
English-language guide checked October 19, 2026.
The digital version of Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World has an FB11 launch and a special Leader event planned for October 20, 2026, at 06:00 UTC—2 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The set is Brightness of Hope. Bandai’s October 17 advance notice uses some present-tense availability language, but its explicit schedule remains in the future as of this guide’s check. Treat that time as the announced start, then check the client for any change. Bandai’s digital FB11 notice.
Digital access and physical packs have different dates
The physical English FB11 product page lists October 16, 2026, a different date from the digital launch. A physical pack’s listed contents are 12 cards. These facts should not be transferred to the digital store or used to assume that a particular physical purchase includes a code or unlocks a chosen digital card. For anyone returning to Dragon Ball cards after a break, check the game name first. This guide covers Fusion World, specifically its digital client. Masters is a separate title. Bandai’s beginner guide links to Masters separately and introduces the Fusion World digital version as a Windows PC option. Fusion World beginner guide.
The dates worth saving
Bandai has announced these UTC windows:
| Digital feature | Announced window |
|---|---|
| FB11 digital booster availability | Starts October 20, 2026, 06:00 UTC |
| Release-celebration login bonus | October 20, 06:00 UTC–November 3, 05:59 UTC |
| Leader Limited Battle | October 20, 06:00 UTC–November 10, 05:59 UTC |
The login bonus progresses with days logged in; the notice describes ten login days to collect its complete sequence. That is separate from the battle event and its rewards. Check the digital release notice and event notice for their current terms.
What “Leader Limited” actually restricts
Only FB11 Leader cards can lead a deck in this event. Battle and Extra cards are not restricted to FB11, although the normal banned and restricted rules still apply. A deck can therefore have an eligible Leader without every card belonging to the new booster. Official event format.
Bandai lists no additional participation requirement and offers a rental deck led by FB11-097 Bardock. The rental cannot be edited and does not require creating an Event Deck. Using your own collection requires an Event Deck; use your own account. Event and rental deck configurations are removed when the event ends, but the notice says your cards are retained.
Enter through Mode Select → Event Match. Participation rewards and total-victory rewards are separate. At seven wins, you receive that victory tier rather than tiers one through six. See the full event instructions.
Which Leaders are being introduced?
The physical set preview identifies five FB11 Leaders: Son Goku, Trunks: Future/Son Gohan: Future / Trunks: Future, Goku Black, Shallot/Giblet / Shallet, and Bardock. Its written highlights describe different uses of Evolve and Ki, including Bardock interacting with the When KO’d skills of Bardock’s Crew cards. That provides a useful starting point for choosing which Leader to read first; it does not establish which deck will perform best in the event. FB11 Leader previews.
A practical preparation check
Before making changes, confirm that the event appears in the client and read the eligible Leader’s current card text. Then review your proposed support cards against the current Fusion World rules and banned/restricted information. Bandai notes that alternate illustrations with the same card number still count as the same card for these rules.
If you want to try the format before rebuilding a collection, inspect the rental’s contents and play pattern first. If you prefer constructing a deck, start with a legal Leader and a clear plan for its support cards. The announced rental route gives those two approaches a useful point of comparison without making a physical purchase a prerequisite for reading the event rules.
